About 1 billion dollars were paid to the Parisian museum for his right while its construction costs only 400 million dollars. According to the common 30-year agreement, the Parisian Louvre will rent out about four hundred artistic objects painting, sculpture, piece of furniture to Abu Dhabi
The cosntruction of the other buildings planned on the island may begin soon, the constructor of one of the five-star hotels was just made public, the Al Jaber Engineering and Contracting LLC (ALEC).
Saadiyat, which lies five hundred metres from the coasts of Abu Dhabi, will be the emirates' cultural centre by the end of the next decade. The government-controlled investments estimated at 100 billion dollars of value; a university campus, more art centres, five big museums, several hotels, a residential district, a marina and many other establishment will be set up on its area.
