Gulf to do better in top 100 firms' list

Gulf companies are expected to perform better than their peers in the developed and developing countries as the region is still enjoying positive growth, a senior official of the Boston Consulting Group said yesterday. The Boston Consulting Group, said more companies from the Gulf are expected to make it to the top 100 companies from the developing countries in the 100 Global Challengers next year. In 2009, five companies – Dubai World, Emaar Properties, Emirates, Etisalat and Agility (Kuwait) – made it to the list of the world's top 100 companies.
